Frequently Asked Questions

  • A. If you are a Self Managed or Plan Managed NDIS participant, and have independent living as one of your goals, YES you can!

    If you are not an NDIS participant, we also welcome you and will discuss payment options with you. Please contact us to discuss your needs further.

  • A. There is a Yellow “Register” Button featured throughout our website. This will take you to a short registration form we require you to complete.

    If you are having trouble accessing the form online, please contact us directly via the mobile number to register your interest at and we can assist you.

  • A. When you register, please ensure you check the box at the end of the form that indicates you are registering on behalf of someone else.

    It is very important that you share all of the information with the participant, and ensure that they understand what they are or aren’t giving consent to.

  • A. The cost of each workshop varies according to the number of workshops within the course, the venue, content, materials provided and the level of support required to ensure the best experience possible for our participants.

    Workshop costs are published on the site and are fully inclusive unless otherwise noted.

  • A. If you are unwell and cannot attend a workshop, we will invite you to attend the next available to ensure you experience the content missed.

    However, this may not be at the same venue, depending on the schedule of workshops available.

  • A. All materials required to participate will be provided.

  • A. Please dress appropriately for the activity of each workshop. 

    Specific information will be provided prior to the commencement of each workshop.

    For example

    In the Kitchen workshops require:

    • Enclosed footwear

    • Long hair tied up, or under a hat

    • Avoid dangling jewellery and hand jewellery wherever possible

    You will be provided with clean aprons at the beginning of each workshop

    Let’s Get Social workshops require:

    • Photo ID

    • Walking shoes

    For all courses we strongly recommend clean and comfortable clothing so that you are comfortable, and so are those around you.

  • A. Your support worker is very welcome to join you at a workshop if it better enables your participation. We do ask that you register their attendance beforehand so that we cater appropriately for them.

  • A. There will be very few instances that workshops are cancelled.

    If a workshop is cancelled due to extenuating circumstances you will be provided with a credit to the next available workshop.

    If you are unable to participate in a workshop due to illness, you will be offered a credit to use at a later workshop.

    If a workshop is cancelled due  to restrictions such as Covid-19, a full deposit refund will be provided.
